Highlights of an historic year for British Steam notably the recreation of the 15 Guinea Special which dates back to August 1968 running over the same route as 40 years ago. Featuring the newly restored 70013 Oliver Cromwell together with a pair of Black 5's and an 8F Visit Carnforth locomotive depot which was thrown open to the public for the debut of the 46616 Scots Guardsman after a complete overhaul.
