When three fugitives fresh off a casino heist stop for gas at the Six Corners Cafe in Death Valley they encounter an unexpectedly hostile breakfast crowd. Gunshots erupt. An explosion destroys the gas station. As the fire burns down people are missing. Only six seem to have survived - a sheriff and his son two of the criminals a female doctor and a young waitress.
